![]() ![]() I can imagine that, considering the circumstances, she has been so for a while, but we know that eventually she got somewhere and I didn't feel like Cruella was already sort of going there in this manga. Cruella feels quite directionless in this story. So it feels like the true punchline isn't there. I assume, since it's not becoming clear from the description, that this is more of a prequel, or maybe the first part, to the movie. The plot of this book didn't really convince me either. ![]() ![]() They're telling fragments and let you fill in the blanks. It sometimes feels like mangas aren't telling the complete story. I assume it's something personal, since so many people love the genre and I'm finding out that it's happening across all the books, but I sometimes miss the connection between the previous page and the next one. However, I'm discovering that I have a certain issue with the way stories in mangas are told. I therefore preferred reading this manga over watching the movie, although the trailers of the movie look awesome. The list holding titles forever because I never actually watch anything. If there is a way to read a series instead of watching it, you can be sure that I will read it and will then add the series to the ever growing to be watched list. I prefer reading a book over almost everything. ![]() I'm a reader in the most literal way possible. ![]()
